Our mobile power kits are full featured with Battle Born lithium batteries and Victron components and include pure sine wave inverters, alternator charging, solar charging and shore power charging to maintain flexibility and power to run your critical circuits.
Kits vary in price and capability. We offer kits in 12v and 24v applications. A proper kit begins with an energy use assessment. Contact us today to understand what your power needs are and scale your kit to your needs.
Don't see what you have in mind? Contact us for a consultation today.
Begin by selecting your inverter size and voltage. Most common options are 2kW and 3kW, although smaller and larger options do exist. Once this is selected, add the minimum battery bank required for your inverter kit. Additional batteries may be added to your liking. To learn more about the flexibility of the Power Assist feature available with victron inverters, click here.
Alternator charging is an excellent way to add power to your batteries, since you'll generally be driving your vehicle often. Choose the charging scale you'd like.
Solar panels are an effective means to keep your batteries fully charged even when you're not driving or plugged in. Determine your solar charger's size based on the amount of panels (wattage) you can fit in the available roof space of your vehicle.
CCV can provide installation of all components as well as your power distribution center and appliance wiring. Contact us today to finalize your installation.

Victron Multiplus 2kva and 3kva
Although the cost of the 3kva inverter is not much more than a 2kva, the overall system cost will increase due to the larger battery bank required and heavier duty cables and accessories required to handle the increased load.
Sometimes it's as easy as sizing to a large draw appliance, such as a microwave or air conditioner. Other times more factors need to be considered.
We prefer to start with an energy assessment for new installations. Our assessment will include a breakdown of your energy needs, recommendations of systems size, and foresight on how your daily and weekly consumption and charging will take place.
Retrofits are generally a little more obvious. Contact us to begin your energy assessment today.

We offer kits in both 12v and 24 volt, but which is better and why?
For larger systems, we prefer to use 24v system components. The higher efficiency brings the cost of components down, however, expansion of battery banks are required to be designed with even numbers, which means expansion must always be done in pairs.
For smaller systems, and systems where power requirements are possible to change and grow as needs change, 12v kits fit the bill well. Battery bank expansion can be done one battery at a time, which may be appealing for certain budgets and applications.
When comparing kits, remember that as voltage raises, capacity decreases. Therefore, a 24v kit requires half the capacity of 12v kits to accomplish the same work/wattage. For example, a 24v 200ah battery bank is about the same capacity as a 12v 400ah kit. Both require 4 batteries to accomplish.
Our kits are designed with expansion in mind. Batteries can be added up to two years after initial installation, and solar panels can be added or changed as required.
A battery bank is like the fuel tank in your vehicle. It gives you an energy reserve that allows you to run your power consumers for a certain amount of time between "fuel ups".
If your kit will include an inverter, it will require a minimum sized battery bank to allow the inverter to operate without shutting down during periods of peak draw.
Once that minimum is met, additional batteries may be added to allow longer reserve power time between charges. This is great for those who experience periods of low solar charge and minimal driving once in a location (perhaps due to chasing big snowstorms, we hope!)
Expanding the minimum battery bank is like installing a larger fuel tank. You can go further and consume more power between "fuel ups".
